August 2008 | Industry NewsTurkey has opted against signing a new pipeline deal with Iran. US pressure appears to have forced Ankara to back-down from plans to invest an estimated US$3.5bn in a new gas pipeline linking the neighbouring states and from developing Iran's South Pars gas field.
