Shell Signs Initial Gas Agreement With Iraq
September 2008 | Contract NewsAnglo-Dutch major Royal Dutch Shell has signed an initial agreement with Iraq's state-run Southern Gas Company to set up a joint venture (JV) to capture and commercialise natural gas, which is currently flared, and supply it to the Basra region of southern Iraq.
