Lukoil Linked With Repsol Stake

Russian publicly-listed oil company Lukoil has held talks with a major shareholder in Spanish oil group Repsol YPF. Catalan savings bank La Caixa, which holds a 12.5% stake in Repsol, revealed in a statement to the Spanish stock market regulator that it had met Lukoil and discussed the potential sale of its interest in the Madrid-based company.
