Enel To Divest Gas Distribution Network

Italy's largest power company Enel will publish a tender offer for its gas distribution network on December 4. The sale of its gas distribution assets is part of the company's strategy to divest its non-core businesses in order to reduce its debt burden since acquiring Spain's Endesa in 2007.
