Nexen Distances Itself From Takeover Talk

Canadian oil sands producer Nexen has sought to distance itself from speculation that it is a takeover target. According to a report in the Financial Times, French major Total is reconsidering a takeover approach for the Calgary-based independent, having decided against a bid in October 2008 on cost grounds.
