Aramco Cancels Dammam Development

Cost fears have reportedly led Saudi Arabian state-controlled oil company Saudi Aramco to cancel a planned redevelopment of the Dammam oilfield. According to a report in Reuters, which cited industry sources, Aramco has told companies involved in the bidding process that it has been cancelled. Saudi Aramco is yet to comment as to why the tender was terminated.
