Total May Postpone Joslyn Investment Decision
April 2009 | Industry NewsFrench oil major Total is considering postponing an investment decision on further phases of its Joslyn oil sands project in Athabasca. The Paris-based major cited escalating costs as the reason behind the move. It has suspended and may consider dismantling a pilot project at Joslyn, according to a Bloomberg report. A final investment decision (FID) on Joslyn was expected in 2010.
