US-Cuba Thaw: IOCs To Follow Tourists?

A partial relaxation of the Cuban embargo by US President Barack Obama could lead to further rapprochement between the two nations that would allow US-based international oil companies (IOCs) to enter Cuba's high-potential upstream segment. Although in the short term a dramatic policy shift remains unlikely, the mutual benefits on offer from energy co-operation could speed up the process.
