Heritage Makes Giant Kurdistan Find

UK independent Heritage Oil announced on May 6 that it has discovered up to 4.2bn barrels (bbl) of oil in the Miran West field in the semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan. Despite the political complications and questionable legality of exploration in Kurdistan some companies are undertaking exploration activities in the area.
