Exxon Secures PNG LNG Buyers

Japanese utilities Tokyo Electric Power and Osaka Gas confirmed on June 22 that they have agreed to purchase liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Exxon Mobil-led project in Papua New Guinea (PNG), which aims to pipe the undeveloped gas resources in the central and western highlands of the country to a liquefaction facility near the capital Port Moresby.
