Baghdad Picks Nassiriya Winner

Iraq has chosen a partner to develop the giant Nassiriya oilfield and has sent its recommendation to the ministerial cabinet for authorisation, oil minister Hussain al-Shahristani announced on June 25. Shahristani added that the name of the company would not be announced until it had been approved by the cabinet.
