Gazprom Reduces Gas Output In 2009

Russian state-owned Gazprom has announced that it will be producing 13.8% less gas in 2009 than in 2008 as a result of lower domestic demand and a dramatic fall in gas consumption in Europe, which is Russia's main export market.
