Oil Unions Elect Chávez Loyalists

An umbrella organisation representing Venezuela's powerful oil labour unions, Federación Unitaria de Trabajadores del Petróleo de Venezuela (FUTPV) has voted to elect pro-government leaders to represent it in negotiations with state-run PdVSA.
