Ljubljana Lets Moscow Score Against Nabucco

Slovenia has signed an agreement with Russia to join the proposed South Stream gas pipeline. The deal marks a breakthrough for Russia as now all of the five transit countries for the northern and southern branches of the pipeline, both of which terminate in Italy, have signed up to the project.
