Tehran Approves First Phase Of Yadavaran Development

Iran has approved the first development phase of the Yadavaran oil field, according to media reports citing the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). State-controlled China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) signed a US$2bn deal for the field in December 2007 after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2004.
