INA To Keep Gas Unit Until 2011

The Croatian government has postponed its acquisition of the gas unit of the recently-privatised energy group Industrija Nafte (INA), owing to fiscal problems. INA will now remain in the currently loss-making gas distribution and storage business until at least 2011, but will benefit from much higher gas price caps and better relations with Zagreb.
