Three Out Of Ten Licences Awarded In Algeria Tender

December 20 saw Algeria award three out of ten exploration and production (E&P) licences in its latest bidding round. According to Djilali Takherst, the head of the energy ministry's licensing committee, a consortium led by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNC) was awarded the Hassi Bir Rekaiz permit, while a Total-led consortium received the Ahnet permit and a Repsol YPF-led consortium has been granted the South-East Illizi permit.
