Apache Takes Control Of Kitimat LNG

US-based independent Apache has acquired a controlling stake in the planned Kitimat liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Western Canada. The move is a major boost to Kitimat LNG's chances of becoming Canada's first liquefaction facility, exploiting the upsurge of drilling activity at the Horn River Shale Basin in north-eastern British Columbia (BC).
