Chevron Signs Up Kyushu Electric For Austalian LNG

US major Chevron has signed two preliminary gas supply agreements with Japanese utility Kyushu Electric Power, securing yet another customer for its liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects in the Carnarvon Basin off Australia. The deals are the latest steps taken by Chevron on its drive to become the largest LNG supplier in Western Australia (WA) by the middle of the decade.
