Bayerngas And E.ON Interested In Acquiring Thyssengas

Germany's Bayerngas and E.ON are reportedly looking to jointly acquire RWE's distribution unit Thyssengas (formerly RWE Transportnetz Gas ), which RWE is seeking to divest in an effort to settle an antitrust case that the European Commission (EC) launched against the company in May 2007.
