A Chinese company, rumoured to be state-owned China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNC), is currently holding negotiations over the development of the Maysan (Misan) oil fields in southern Iraq, according to the country's oil minister Hussain al-Shahristani, cited by Reuters.
