Paris Pins Colours To Nord Stream Mast

France has officially signalled its support for the Russian-backed Nord Stream pipeline project. On March 2, partially state-owned GDF Suez signed a letter of intent (LoI) with the venture's leader Gazprom to acquire a 9% stake in the pipeline in the presence of presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and Dmitriy Medvedev.
