Offshore Production To Boost Angola 2011 Output

Angola's crude output is set to rise by about 16% in 2011 as new deepwater projects come onstream, the country's deputy petroleum minister said at a conference in South Africa on April 8. The comments indicate that the West African nation is pushing ahead in its efforts to maximise output levels despite already producing well in excess of its 1.571mn barrel per day (b/d) OPEC production quota.
