Manila May Add Up To 10 New Blocks To Next Licensing Round; Decision Awaits New Energy Secretary

The Philippines' energy undersecretary, Ramon V. Oca, said on June 25 2010 that up to 10 new sites would be added to the list of development blocks to be offered to investors as part of the 2010 Philippines Energy Contracting Round (PECR). However, any final decision would have to be made by the energy secretary of the new government of President-elect Benigno Aquino III.
