Baku Lines Up New Gas Customer In Syria, Mulls Further Arab Expansion

Azerbaijan has signed up the first Arab customer for its gas, agreeing a supply deal with Syria during the visit of a Syrian delegation to Baku in late June 2010. With an ever-growing regional customer base and rising domestic needs, we are increasingly sceptical over Azerbaijan's ability to fill Nabucco.
