Tenth Licensing Round Shows Potential Of Black Sea Frontier

Romania has awarded 20 oil exploration licences out of 30 offered in its 10th bidding round, according to its national agency for mineral resources. Although blocks in the west attracted the greatest interest, the award of two offshore blocks and three coastal blocks demonstrates the increasing attractiveness of Black Sea exploration to major oil companies.
