BP's Drilling Plans Come Under Attack But Likely To Go Ahead Anyway

ritish major BP's first deepwater drilling project since the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) oil spill has come under fire. Italy's foreign minister, Franco Frattini, has raised concerns over BP's plans to drill in Libya's Gulf of Sirte before the causes of the GoM oil spill have been established and called for the issue to be brought before the Union of the Mediterranean (UoM).
