Iran Talks Up Mediterranean Exports Via Iraq As Route To Gas Revenue Preservation

Iran's deputy oil minister has claimed that Tehran has secured approval from Iraqi authorities to export gas to Syria via Iraq. The announcement follows the signing of an earlier Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries whereby Iraq agreed to import Iranian gas for its rising consumption needs.
