EPA Finds Water Contamination Near Fraccing Operations Highlighting Regulatory Risks

In its first investigation into the effects of hydraulic fracturing (fraccing), the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has found that 17 of 19 water wells tested near a natural gas drilling site in Wyoming had been contaminated.
