Oil Production Restart To Improve Licensing Chances

An Afghan official has said that the country has extracted small volumes of oil from a well in the northern Sar-e-Pol province, almost certainly from the Kashkari Block. Although the volumes produced are merely symbolic, they will help to generate interest in the country's forthcoming offering of the Kashkari Block.
