Australia Pacific LNG FID On The Way After Sinopec Supply Deal

A long-term supply deal with Sinopec paves the way for Origin Energy and ConocoPhillips to take an FID on the APLNG project, which would make it the third Queensland CBM-to-LNG project to reach the milestone. The project partners, however, had to reduce their equity stake in the project to sweeten the deal, a trend we expect to continue as Australia's various LNG projects compete for Asian buyers.
