Japanese Interest Boosts Browse Prospects

Bringing Mitsubishi and Mitsui into the Browse project would give a major boost to the Browse LNG project after CNC pulled out of its preliminary supply deal in 2010. As with other LNG projects in Australia, however, we expect the project partners to have to give up equity stakes in the project to attract buyers.
