Tullow Declares Block 2 Find As CEO Holds Talks With President

Anglo-Irish independent Tullow Oil has announced a new discovery on its 100% owned Block 2 in Uganda. The Kasamene-2 appraisal well in the Butiaba area of the block was drilled to a total depth of 866 metres (m) and hit 39m of net oil pay and 8m of net gas pay, according to a company statement on January 22.
