PetroChina, Shell Move Into Block D Gas Exploration

PetroChina and Anglo-Dutch major Royal Dutch Shell have been awarded the Block D concession, which spans an area onshore and offshore north-eastern Qatar. The award is PetroChina's first move into Qatar and is Shell's first involvement in gas exploration in the emirate.
