Anglo-Dutch major Royal Dutch Shell has signed a deal to extract natural gas in Kurdistan in northern Iraq. According to reports from a Turkish news agency, Shell will collaborate with Turkey's state-controlled TPAO in producing gas and developing the necessary infrastructure to monetise the region's resources.
