Several Indian oil companies including Reliance Industries, Essar Oil, Videocon Group, Gujarat State Petroleum Company (GSPC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) and Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) have expressed their interest in bidding for five exploration blocks in Western Australia, according to India's Economic Times (ET).
