BMI View: Gas production will be the main success story of the CEE region over the next ten years , as Europe and China demand more of the fuel from Russia, Azerbaijan and Central Asia. Oil production will largely remain stagnant with the focus increasingly on production longevity rather than growth. Refining modernisation will improve product quality, while demand growth for fuels and gas will slow.
